Catching the perfect picture is hard to do. Here are some "not so bad" pictures and things that could have been done to make them better.

Photo of a very cute meerkat couple. This is a good picture. They are almost posing for a picture. Even their heads are tilted. What is wrong with it? Notice the shadow on one of the meetkats face. That takes this picture from a great picture and makes it only a good one.

Next one...

This was one that I really wish I could have pulled off. Was at the local zoo and one of the mandrill's was yawning. Unfortuantely, I could not get a clear shot - way out of focus.

This next picture, I love it. The light is good, clarity is good, tells a small love story.

The parakeets are not in the exact center of the picture, but they do show a caring between them. The focus on the picture is them, but also the faded background highlights them even more.

Will put more samples on the site soon, but watch your shadows, the clarity of the picture, and most of all, have fun!!!
